Located one block north if the historic Santa Fe Plaza,m Il Piatto has been a locals favorite for over 15 years. Featuring local produce, organic meats, fresh seafood and homemade pastsa it's no wonder Che Matt has garnered so much national press. From Esquires top twenty to recent articles in Food and Wine and Conde Noste, Il Piatto never disappoints. www.ilpiattosantafe.com, www.mattyohalem.com

The service at La Choza had a collective bad cold around the time I wrote this review, but our experiences over the last six months have been excellent. The posole still doesn't match that of Maria's but edges out The Shed's. Like Maia32, I like the local feel and affordability.

The Shed and La Choza are two of my favorites for sure! The chile is almost identical, and quite possibly the tastiest in town.

How about La Choza? Every bit as good as The Shed (its sister restaurant) with more of a local clientele, and more affordable. Awesome chile.
